We can explain the detail of how the service works and will ensure 1:1 support, through one of our Digital Buddies, to get set-up and logged in to the online sessions.
The Mixed Media Arts group starting next week is now full but we are still offering places for History, Creative Writing, and Music and Mindfulness; a further Photography group will be available within the next few weeks.
Visual Arts, Thursdays and Mondays at 2pm starting on Thursday 15th April
In these creative workshops with an artist, you will explore a range of visual arts techniques and processes, and work towards creating a unique mandala-inspired artwork by the end of the 12 sessions. During this time, you will learn about art and practice with some of the formal elements that make up a piece of artwork, such as line, colour and composition. There will also be opportunity to explore, play, and talk along the way. Each session will conclude with gentle stretching and breathing exercises to complete this mindful experience.
These sessions are ultimately about responding to the now, using our imaginations, and will be tailored to the interests and needs of the participants with the aim of building confidence and improving overall wellbeing. No prior experience necessary – just the willingness to have a go!
