Richmond Fellowship (RF) is a specialist provider of mental health services, and one of the biggest voluntary sector providers of mental health care in England, working with 6,000 people.
RF Selby & District Floating Support Service provides Support Workers experienced in working with adults with mental health problems in their own home.
We aim to help you maintain yourself in your home by promoting confidence, skill building and positive risk taking. You are at the heart of our Support Planning process to ensure we work with you towards your aspirations.
Examples of areas in which we offer support are:
- Benefits and budgeting
- Accessing activities and establishing social networks
- Dealing with other agencies
- Accessing training and employment services
- Finding information and techniques to help you understand and manage your mental illness
- Developing your practical daily skills
Location and Contact Details
Who Our Service is for?
The Service is for adults over 18, who have or are recovering from mental health problems.
Applicants do not need to be on Care Plan Approach, but we may seek supporting information from other agencies.
How to apply?
You can apply by contacting us directly or you may wish to ask a professional working with you to contact us.
We will send out an Application Pack for you to fill in and return, with any relevant information which may help your application.
Once we have received your Application Form we will contact you to arrange a visit to discuss your referral with you prior to offering you a place on the Service.
RF Selby & District Floating Support is funded by North Yorkshire County Council and subject to the Supporting People criteria and standards.
