Supporting a range of charities and worthy causes whilst promoting craft skills

  • the crafting group meet 10-3 on the second Tuesday of the month at The Barn in Tadcaster
  • we have a woodworking group, TadGrafters, that meets every month on the day after the crafting session 4-6pm
  • we have a gardening group
  • we have a beekeeping group
  • we have a crafting group that meets monthly in Sherburn-in-Elmet
  • Sessions are free but we appreciate a £1 voluntary donation

Further Information

  • We use and share a variety of craft skills.
  • We make use of fabric, yarn and other materials that would otherwise be thrown away.
  • We make a wide range of items that are donated to charities and worthy causes.
  • We develop a network of people who work together as a team on different projects suited to their skills.
  • We create a social network of people who make new friends.
  • We help people to realise that their skills are valuable and are also excellent mindfulness techniques.
  • We give people the opportunity to “make a difference “.
  • We can direct people to other community groups and services that may be beneficial to them.
  • We encourage and support people to start their own community group.
